PCG-SUMMIT 2013
Progress and Opportunities for the
Center for the Advancement of Science in Space

We invite you to participate in the Protein Crystal Growth (PCG) Summit on October 24-25, 2013. The summit will be held in Huntsville, the “Rocket City,” in the beautiful state of Alabama. The meeting site will be at the HudonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology within the second largest research park in the U.S. nearby the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the Redstone Arsenal.

Participants will also tour the new
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) as part of the summit activities.

Presentations will report the most recent progress of CASIS microgravity research relating to protein crystal growth on the International Space Station (ISS). The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) will also review and discuss future research opportunities on the ISS.
